
The Sighisoara Festival is undoubtedly the most important medieval festival in Romania. Year after year, the medieval spirit of this region is revived, the streets are filled with knights and princesses, and a truly unique atmosphere hangs in the air.
That is why, year after year, tens of thousands of people from all over the world choose to spend a week in Sighisoara to discover the tradition and culture that have endured for hundreds of years in this area.
The 2012 edition of the festival was particularly significant as it was held under the High Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Margareta, Heir to the Romanian Throne.
